Olympic and Paralympic project reel – London 2012

Here is an overview of all Olympic activity while I was Creative Director for film and animation London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

As official digital imaging services supplier for the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games, my role was to enhance the spectator experience in the venues and on television broadcasts. The animated kit of parts was what LOCOG referred to as ‘Sport Presentation’. Taking the brand from 2D into a 3D environment, the kit of parts was designed to stir up excitement and educate audiences.

Sports Presentation included a series of animations for each Olympic and Paralympic sport, which ran across all London 2012 venues. My team and I produced more than 3,000 animations including animated athletes, visual explanations of event rules and all Mascot Animation.

I also expanded the London 2012 brand look for entertainment visuals, which formed LOCOG’s well-publicised ‘Rock the Games’ initiative.
